Grow Through Trial   November 7th, 2008

Everyone would like to get better at something.

Thursday I met with a group of people who want to start a new section of
Combat Endurance Training in a small town just a bit down the road.

I spent one hour with these folks talking about the program and showing them the exercises. We’re hoping to start something within the next few weeks.

The people that came tonight were all ages and sizes, but they had one thing in common.
They were all willing to try something new and put themselves in an uncomfortable position.

I teased the group about not leaving my phone number because I didn’t want any of them
calling me to complain about how sore their bodies would be. They all laughed and went about their business of getting sore.

What a refreshing attitude. Working hard and smiling during the whole process.

We really can create our day. If that’s the case, what kind of a day do you choose to have each day. Here’s some simple ideas that can start each of your days on the right foot.

1. Take some time to breath deeply the moment that your feet hit the floor as you’re still sitting up in bed

2. Take a few moments to move right away in the morning. A short exercise routine will help you breath more effectively and get your day started off with a boost of high octane energy

3. Take a few moments to close your eyes and see yourself already having achieved your toughest task for the day.
