Too Sore To Move   May 13th, 2010

Have you ever tried a new workout program and did it as hard as you could on the very first day? Did you feel muscles you didn’t know you had over the next few days?

A while back I invited a friend to come to one of my local Combat classes. This person was in his early 30’s, former collegiate wrestler, current weight lifter, and very health conscious and took great care of himself.

Very strong and very healthy.

Class started and I’m watching my friend and he’s giving it all he’s got. After all that’s how he always worked out.

After class he stopped over to talk and I said that he might feel a bit sore over the next few days. He said that he was still staying quite active and after his workouts he took supplements to speed up the muscle recovery and cut down on any soreness.

He told me that he thought he was going to be fine. I told him that I hoped he was right and let me know how he felt in a few days.

Two days later I got a phone call. It was my young, athletic friend.

He said, ” I just had to call you and tell you this. My wife took me to the grocery store and I was so sore that I had to hang onto the grocery cart just to get up and down the aisles. I’ve never been so sore in my life.”

He went on to say that even though he considered himself a very fit and in shape person that my class showed him that he really was WEAK in the core of his body. He said that he was glad that he now understood the work that he had to do.

Are you interested in making your core stronger? You don’t have to be a 30 year old former wrestler in order to make your core stronger.

Anyone of any age can do it. A stronger core means effortless movement, less body aches and pain, and a stronger, more efficient body.

You can get it all with either my Intermediate or Advanced training programs.
Go here to get your copy of either program today.

Results are In…This is Exciting   March 21st, 2009

It’s exciting to see people getting results. There’s something about seeing people reach their goals that lights my fire.

Yesterday I was in Madison with my son to see his high school alma mater play for the state basketball championship. They won their semifinal game and will play for the championship again tomorrow night.

This will be the 3rd year in a row that they are playing for the state championship. It’s been a nice run and it would be great to see them close the deal tomorrow night.

They’ll have a tough test in that the team that they are playing has won 4 of the last 5 state championships and also beat them two years ago.

If all goes well revenge will be sweet. It’ll be exciting to watch.

A while back I asked people that have bought some of my Combat Endurance Training products to fill out a survey for me. Many people responded and the answers that I got were inspirational and helped me quite a bit in knowing what my customers want.

It’s important for me to ask what I can do for you to help you achieve your goals. In our Karate school it’s easier to get to know people because we see many of them a few times per week and we’ve been able to establish a relationship because of the personal contact.

The Internet is different. Those people who see and buy my products on the Internet don’t know me or know anything about what I do. There are many things on the Internet that are hype and can be quite suspicious.

Developing relationships on the Internet is a bit more difficult. I’m trying to do it by sending out emails, showing you videos, and generally bringing value to you in any way that I know how.

So the surveys came back. One of the questions I asked was what has my Combat Endurance Training program done for you. I’m going to include some of the answers for you to see. Here they are:

How has Combat Endurance Training helped you?

  • Helped every aspect of my life. I feel calm and in control

  • I have an abundance of energy and feel fit. I have endurance and I can last a lot longer doing other activities. I am able to do things I could not in the past like hike and bike for distances. My body now has definition and shape and lost A LOT of fat
  • I have rediscovered lots about my body as far as strength and endurance
  • My belly is stronger. My back is less painful. An arthritic knee was beginning to significantly affect my mobility and range of motion. It has improved to the point where most of the time I don’t even notice a problem
  • I’m in the best shape of my life since my 20’s. I am now 59
  • I just feel better physically and mentally- Makes me feel better
  • My core has never been so strong

  • I am stronger, fitter, happier and know I can push myself to limits I never thought possible.
  • I am regaining my body and my self esteem slowly but surely
  • I exercise more often because it only requires 9 minutes

  • I’m starting to “tighten up” and I like it
  • Can outlast the young guns (15 to 18 year olds) When we go for a grueling ride on our ATV’s they have to stop and rest while I keep jumping and practicing tricks while they rest
  • I have more energy now and am really feeling like my muscles are getting their flexibility back
  • It has helped me a middle aged mom to get back into shape. It has helped my husband who has MS to keep his muscles functioning and it has helped our teenage children who are involved in many sports to stay in shape during and in between their sports seasons
  • Given me a quick way to get in a solid workout on busy days
  • I find it easy to use your training program any place I go

If any of these results interest you then make it a point to go to www.CombatEnduranceTraining.com and get some of these results for yourself.

The proof is in. This stuff works and it can work for you. The results are quick and they’re real. Why wait any longer?

P.S. The way we think affects the way we feel. There’s a company that I’ve now developed a relationship with that helps kids and families become healthy and strong together. The books, dvds, and audios that this company puts out are the perfect tool to have at home to reinforce strong, healthy values and attitudes. Check it out for yourself at

P.S.S. Did you know that your brain is something that you can exercise to keep it young and vibrant. Stress robs your brain of its youth and can lead to memory loss and other ailments. Check out this audio to find out what you can do to save your brain.

Little Things (Big Difference)   March 20th, 2009

Have you ever heard someone say, “I’ve done that before and it didn’t work for me” ?

In most cases if people try something and it doesn’t work they often times give up.

One short of expected result does not mean that a technique or program is not good.

There are so many variables that can affect an outcome. It’s a mistake to believe that after one try something can no longer help you achieve your goals.

Sometimes that same technique when used in a slightly different fashion, slightly different speed, or slightly different pace can change your results drastically.

Today I’ve made a video to show you an exercise that is beneficial for both strength and cardiovascular fitness. You’ll also see a few variations and some suggestions that will make this a winner and give you something more to add to your workouts.

Have fun and let me know how it goes.

Tough Times/Better Service   March 20th, 2009

We hear it everyday. Times are tough. I’m not going to argue with that.

Even though these may not be the most exciting economic times they are still times for making things better and moving forward.

It’s times like these that make all us take a closer look at what’s important and what’s not.

In my businesses I’ve chosen to continue to try to do what we do even better. Great Service is King. We’re choosing to add more to what we do in order that you, our loyal customers, can get more from your association with us.

I hear so much about cutting back. There may need to be some of that, but there better be some effort made to get better and provide better service. If that doesn’t happen then no way are things going to turn around.

Things will get better. We all have to make it a point to not listen to the gloom and doom that so many are spewing and get on with the business of moving forward and improving as we go.

It’s my plan to add more training tools, offer more seminars, add more quality video, bring more people to my customers that can help me add value, and in general provide the best service possible for my martial arts school and also for my Internet clients.

It’s my belief that if we don’t do our best to get better and learn better ways to serve the customer than it’s time for us to move onto something else.

Here’s to making it work and giving our best effort. It’s in the sharing of our energy and our knowledge that we make the world a stronger more energetic place.

To your best life,

The King & The Doctor   March 17th, 2009

I’ve found over time that you have to be in the right mindset for growth and progress. Fitness is no different.

Often times people want great results, but just aren’t in the right mindset to spark the change they want.

Now, getting yourself in that mindset doesn’t take a miracle or magic wonder juice. In fact, sometimes, it’s just a matter of taking the first step.

A great way to preserve your fitness and wellbeing mindset is to seek the knowledge of those that know more. It’s a fact. We’re all getting older, and it’s also a sad fact that keeping your mind and body fit takes more work the older you get.

Obviously without a healthy mind, your body is secondary. Tonight at 7 pm CST, Dr. Dharma Khalsa, Alzheimer’s Prevention and Brain Longevity World leading expert will be joining me in a free teleconference.

World Leading Expert…

That’s a cool title. I’m bringing his knowledge straight to your home. He’s going to share with you some great things to help you keep your brain in tip-top performance. I know I want my cabasa (a little spanish meaning your noggin’) in optimal performance mode. I want the same for you.

Join me tonight night during my free teleconference. Take 45 seconds to reserve your spot at:
www.CombatEnduranceTraining.com/teleseminar.html

Take a second afterwards to listen to Martin Luther King’s take on important the first step is.

Important   March 17th, 2009

I’ve gotten good response from those of you who have been on my teleconferences. The speakers have all been knowledgeable and the subject matter interesting for many who join the calls. This Tuesday will be the same and proves to be extremely informative and helpful.

We’re all getting older or we know someone close who is. Along with a higher incidence of folks getting into their upper years we are also seeing a higher incidence of Alzheimers and other memory loss phenomena.

The exciting thing is that much of this can be avoided or helped even after people are diagnosed.

Dr. Dharma Khalsa is a leading authority on the brain, diseases of the brain, and ways to make the brain stronger. His stories are edge of the seat stuff and the information that you can learn is truly cutting edge.

Here’s a thought. If you are available this Tuesday at 7 pm CST. I would strongly suggest that you register for the call and spend at least fifteen minutes listening to Dr. Dharma. If you like what you hear after 15 minutes then you can continue on. At the same time if you choose to not be on the call then you will miss out on any potentially educational and very helpful info that you might come across.

I’m currently reading Dr. Dharma’s book Brain Longevity and you’ll be interested to know that two very important elements of his treatment for patients with Alzheimers or other memory loss symtoms are extremely easy to do once you learn them.

You’ll need to be on the call to learn all four of his treatment components.

Here’s another hint – some of his treatments can be used by anyone to live a longer, healthier life.

Do you best to join us on the call this Tuesday evening I look forward to hearing from you. After the presentation we will open the lines for questions.

What Do You Think?   March 14th, 2009

“A man is but the product of his thoughts. What he thinks, he becomes.”
-Mahatma Gandhi

We already have the most powerful computer sitting on top of our shoulders. Now all we have to do is program it correctly.

There in lies the struggle. Every day becomes a challenge to not let things that might distract us from our goals get into our heads.

I’ve recently had some questions come in asking about what are some tricks that I use to stay motivated and upbeat. Great question.

I make it an effort to be very single minded when it comes to my goals. Some people say that I’m too intense at times but I don’t know any other way. I don’t believe that you can be wishy, washy about things that really matter to you.

One of the ways that I find is useful to stay on track is to have a very clear picture of what I want. I already see what the end result is and I don’t let distractions steer me away from the goal.

Put simply it’s a matter of staying focused and remembering why you started the journey in the first place. It’s also a good idea to think about how you might feel and look when the thing that you strive for is finally achieved.

Your energy, spirit, and your brain’s capacity are three sure fire tools to put into gear to fearlessly pursue the result that you desire

P.S. Mark Tuesday on your calendar for the teleconference with Dr.Dharma. I’m reading his book “Brain Longevity” right now. It’s fascinating.
